Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) applies to Love Power Up, LLC (“Love Power Up,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”), developer and provider of the Study For Permit Test mobile application (the “App,” “Service,” or “Services”).

This Policy explains how information is handled when You use Study For Permit Test. The App is designed to help users study for learner-permit and driver-knowledge examinations in the 50 United States. No user account or login is required, and study-related information is generally stored locally on Your device rather than in a Love Power Up user account or developer-operated server.

As used in this Policy, “Personal Data” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with an individual or device. “You” and “Your” mean the person accessing or using the Services.

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, Our practices, platform requirements, legal requirements, or third-party services. The updated Policy will be posted within the App, on Our website, or otherwise made available to You. When required by applicable law, We will provide additional notice or request consent.

2. Summary of Our Privacy Practices

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

3.1 State Selection, Practice, Progress, and Study Data

The App may create and store the following information locally on Your device:

This information is used to provide state-specific practice questions, grade answers, display correct and incorrect responses, create wrong-answer quizzes, provide Quick Quizzes, Practice Tests, and Mock Exams, maintain bookmarks, display recent scores and score history, track state-by-state progress, enforce free-tier access, and provide paid-tier features.

Except for information processed by Apple or another third party as described elsewhere in this Policy, locally stored study information remains on Your device and is not stored by Love Power Up on a developer-operated server.

3.2 Private Progress and Performance Information

Your practice history, quiz and exam results, correct and incorrect answers, bookmarks, score history, and state-by-state progress information are private. The App does not upload this information to a public leaderboard, associate it with an online user account, or store it in a Love Power Up user-profile database.

Some or all of these features may be available only while an active paid subscription is in effect. If a paid subscription ends, related locally stored information may remain on Your device, but some features or information may become unavailable through the App unless and until You resubscribe, subject to the information still being present and not having been deleted, reset, corrupted, or otherwise lost.

3.3 Bookmarks

The App may allow You to bookmark practice questions for later review. Bookmarks are generally stored locally on Your device. Depending on the App version and implementation, bookmarks may be maintained separately from score and answer-history information and therefore may not necessarily be removed when You use a state’s Clear Progress control.

3.4 Free-Tier Usage Status

The free tier provides twenty (20) practice questions total, consisting of up to ten (10) free questions in each of two states. The first two states in which You use the free practice allowance may become the two states associated with that allowance.

The App may store locally which states are associated with the free allowance, how many free questions have been used in each state, and related information needed to determine when paid access is required.

Deleting and reinstalling the App does not provide another set of twenty free questions. To help recognize prior free use after deletion or reinstallation, the App may rely on Apple-provided mechanisms or information available through Apple or the operating system. This information is used to enforce the free-use limit and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

The exact technical mechanism used to recognize prior free use may change as Apple’s platform capabilities and the App evolve. Apple may process related device, installation, transaction, entitlement, or other technical information under Apple’s own privacy practices.

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

The App currently offers weekly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Apple processes payment information under Apple’s own terms and privacy practices. Love Power Up does not receive or store Your full credit-card number, debit-card number, bank-account information, or other complete payment credentials.

The App may receive or process limited purchase-related information made available through Apple, such as:

This information is used to validate purchases, restore purchases, determine access to paid features, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with legal and platform requirements.

We may add Google Play distribution and billing in the future. If We do, Google may process purchases and related information under Google’s own terms and privacy practices, and We will update this Policy as appropriate.

5. Apple Analytics and Diagnostic Information

The App does not use third-party analytics, advertising-attribution, or crash-reporting software development kits. We may receive analytics, diagnostics, crash information, and usage information made available to developers by Apple, depending on Apple’s systems and Your device privacy and analytics settings.

Information made available by Apple may include App version, device model, operating-system version, crash logs, performance data, diagnostic information, and aggregated or limited usage information. We may use this information to diagnose problems, maintain security, understand technical performance, and improve the App.

Apple controls the collection and availability of Apple analytics and diagnostics under Apple’s own privacy practices and Your device settings. You may be able to manage analytics sharing through the privacy and analytics settings on Your Apple device.

6. Notifications

The App may request permission to send notifications, which may include study reminders, subscription-related notices, feature notices, or other App-related messages.

The App may use push notifications. Push-notification delivery may involve Apple Push Notification service (“APNs”) and, depending on implementation, other technical service providers used to deliver notifications. Apple or a notification provider may process a device token and limited technical or delivery information necessary to deliver a notification.

We do not use push-notification tokens for advertising or cross-app tracking. You may allow, restrict, or disable notifications through Your device settings.

7. Customer Support and Communications

If You contact Us for customer support or another reason, We may collect the information You voluntarily provide, which may include:

We use support information to respond to You, troubleshoot problems, investigate complaints, maintain security, prevent abuse, improve the App, and comply with legal obligations. Please do not send sensitive or confidential information that is unnecessary for Us to address Your request.

8. How We Use Information

Depending on how You use the App, We may use information to:

9. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose or transmit information in the following limited circumstances:

We do not sell Personal Data. We do not share Personal Data for cross-context behavioral advertising, and We do not use Personal Data to track You across apps or websites owned by other companies for targeted advertising or advertising measurement.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

10.1 Local App Data

State selections, practice history, answers, correct and incorrect answer information, quiz and exam history, scores, state-by-state progress, bookmarks, settings, and other locally stored study information are retained on Your device until removed through the App, device behavior, deletion of the App, clearing App data, resetting or replacing the device, or loss or corruption of device storage.

10.2 Clear Progress

Each state may provide a Clear Progress control. Using Clear Progress for a state is designed to clear that state’s full score history, recent scores, and correct and incorrect answer history or related progress information.

Bookmarks may be maintained separately from score and answer-history information and may not necessarily be removed when Clear Progress is used. The exact effect of Clear Progress may vary by App version and implementation.

Clearing progress does not reset the twenty-question free allowance, change the two states associated with the free allowance, cancel or alter a subscription, or create a new entitlement to free or paid content.

10.3 Free-Tier Status

Using Clear Progress, deleting App data, or deleting and reinstalling the App does not create a new twenty-question free allowance. Information or technical signals used through Apple-provided mechanisms to recognize prior free use may remain available or may be processed independently of the locally stored study data that You clear or delete.

Love Power Up does not use this information for advertising or cross-app tracking.

10.4 Purchase and Subscription Information

Apple retains purchase and subscription information according to Apple’s own policies. The App may process or locally cache purchase and entitlement status as needed to provide paid features, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and comply with platform or legal requirements.

10.5 Apple Analytics and Diagnostics

Apple controls retention of analytics and diagnostic information collected through Apple’s systems. Any information made available to Love Power Up may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to diagnose issues, maintain security, improve the App, or comply with legal obligations.

10.6 Support Communications

We may retain support communications and related information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to You, maintain support records, troubleshoot issues, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

10.7 Aggregated or Deidentified Information

We may retain aggregated or deidentified information for longer periods where it does not reasonably identify You and is not used to attempt to reidentify You.

11. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on Your device and applicable law, You may have the following choices:

Because the App does not require an account and most study information remains only on Your device, Love Power Up generally cannot identify, access, retrieve, correct, transfer, or delete Your locally stored practice history, answers, bookmarks, scores, state progress, or settings on Your behalf.

12. International Data Processing and Transfers

Apple and other parties described in this Policy may process information in the United States or other countries where they or their service providers operate. Data-protection laws in those locations may differ from those where You live.

Where required by applicable law, Personal Data transferred across national borders will be handled using an available lawful transfer mechanism or other safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.

13. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by Us. However, no device, software, storage method, service provider, or method of electronic transmission is completely secure, and We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of Your device, device passcode, Apple account, backups, and operating system. Anyone with access to Your unlocked device may be able to view locally stored App information.

14. Users Under 18 and Children’s Privacy

Study For Permit Test is intended for users who are at least 14 years old. We do not knowingly offer the App to or intentionally collect Personal Data from children under 14 through the App.

If You are 14, 15, 16, or 17 years old, You should use the App with the permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law. If consent is required for a particular processing activity, We will seek consent in the manner required by applicable law.

If You believe that a child below the minimum permitted age has provided Personal Data to Us, please contact Us at support@lovepowerup.com, and We will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.

15. Links and Third-Party Services

The App may contain links to or integrate services operated by third parties, including Apple and notification providers. Those parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or practices of third-party services except to the extent required by applicable law.

16. California Privacy Rights

This section applies to California residents to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (the “CCPA”), applies to Love Power Up and the information at issue.

Depending on how You use Study For Permit Test and the information made available to Love Power Up, categories of Personal Data processed in connection with the App may include identifiers provided through customer support or Apple-provided transaction information; commercial information relating to subscriptions; internet or other electronic activity information, analytics, diagnostics, or technical information made available by Apple; notification-related technical information where notifications are enabled; and support communications or other information You voluntarily provide to Us. Study activity such as selected states, answers, correct and incorrect answer history, quiz and exam scores, bookmarks, and state-by-state progress is generally stored only on Your device and is not maintained by Love Power Up on a developer-operated server.

Subject to the CCPA’s scope, exceptions, and verification requirements, California residents may have the right to:

Love Power Up does not sell Personal Data or share Personal Data for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because We do not engage in those practices for Study For Permit Test, We do not provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link for the App.

You or an authorized agent may submit an applicable request by emailing support@lovepowerup.com. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify the request and Your authority. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We may deny or limit a request where an exception applies or where We cannot reasonably verify the request.

Most Study For Permit Test study history, answers, scores, bookmarks, progress records, and settings are stored only on Your device and are not accessible to Love Power Up. A privacy request sent to Us cannot cause Us to access, correct, export, or delete device-only information that We do not possess.

17. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

If applicable data-protection law in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland applies, Our legal bases for processing Personal Data may include:

Subject to applicable law, You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing; request data portability; withdraw consent; and complain to a competent data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

These rights apply to Personal Data that Love Power Up actually possesses or controls. Because most Study For Permit Test study information is stored only on Your device, these rights generally do not enable Us to access, correct, export, transfer, or delete Your locally stored answers, scores, bookmarks, progress, or settings on Your behalf. Information independently controlled by Apple or another third party may also be subject to that party’s own privacy practices and rights-request procedures.

18. Other Privacy Rights

Depending on where You live, other applicable privacy or data-protection laws may provide rights regarding Personal Data, which may include rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about certain disclosures or processing activities, subject to applicable exceptions and limitations.

These rights apply to Personal Data that Love Power Up possesses or controls. Because most Study For Permit Test study information is stored only on Your device, We generally cannot access, correct, transfer, or delete that information remotely on Your behalf.

To exercise an applicable privacy right regarding information that Love Power Up actually possesses or controls, contact support@lovepowerup.com. We may request information reasonably necessary to understand and verify Your request.

You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a privacy or data-protection authority with jurisdiction over You or Our processing, where applicable.

19. No Advertising, Sale, or Cross-App Tracking

The App does not display third-party advertising. Love Power Up does not sell Personal Data, does not share Personal Data for cross-context behavioral advertising, and does not use Personal Data collected through Study For Permit Test to track You across apps or websites owned by other companies, build advertising profiles, or deliver targeted advertising.

20. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy and update the “Last updated” date above. Changes become effective when posted unless a later date is stated. Where required by law, We will provide additional notice or obtain consent.

21. Contact Us
