This privacy policy (the “Policy”) applies to Love Power Up, LLC (“Love Power Up,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”), developer of the Originality.ai app (the “App,” “Service,” or “Services”).
As used in this Policy, “Personal Data” means any information that relates to, describes, or could be used to identify an individual, directly or indirectly.
Definitions: Throughout this Policy, “You” or “Your” means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable. “Company” refers to Love Power Up. “Usage Data” refers to data collected automatically, either generated by use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.
Applicability: This Policy applies to Personal Data that Love Power Up collects, uses, and discloses in connection with Originality.ai, including: (i) data collected through the Services; (ii) text, documents, PDF files, extracted PDF text, excerpts, prompts, analysis requests, and other user-submitted content; (iii) AI/human likelihood classifications, confidence scores, written analysis reports, syntax breakdowns, writing-pattern observations, scan history records, and other outputs generated by the App; (iv) data processed by third-party service providers, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, text analysis, cloud hosting, storage, analytics, customer support, payment processing, subscription management, and security service providers, as described in this Policy; (v) data collected through improving, testing, and enhancing the App, including through anonymized and/or aggregated data as described in this Policy; (vi) data collected from customer support communications; and (vii) data collected from third-party sources where applicable. When You make purchases, We use third-party payment processors to collect credit card or other financial information. Love Power Up does not store the credit card or payment information You provide, only confirmation that payment was made.
Changes: We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal, regulatory, operational requirements, Our practices, and other factors. Please check this Privacy Policy periodically for updates. If any changes are unacceptable to You, You should cease using the Services. When required under applicable law, We will notify You of changes to this Privacy Policy.
While interacting with the Services, You may provide certain personally identifiable information that could be used to contact or identify You, including:
The Service may allow You to paste text, import PDF files, submit excerpts, provide prompts or analysis requests, review previous scan results, or otherwise submit information through the App. Such text, documents, PDF content, extracted PDF text, excerpts, prompts, analysis requests, notes, and related materials are referred to in this Policy as “User Content.”
User Content may include text written by You, text written by other people, AI-generated text, third-party text, document excerpts, imported PDF files, extracted text from PDF files, formatting information, file names or document metadata where available, analysis instructions, and any other information You choose to enter, upload, import, or submit through the App.
We collect and process User Content to provide the core functionality of the Service, including extracting text from PDF files, analyzing submitted text, evaluating writing patterns, generating AI/human likelihood classifications, calculating confidence scores, producing written analysis reports, creating syntax breakdowns, displaying results, saving scan history where applicable, troubleshooting issues, maintaining security, and improving the Services as described in this Policy.
User Content may be stored persistently within or in connection with the App so that You can access scan history, previous reports, confidence scores, syntax breakdowns, classifications, and related results. User Content is intended to be deleted upon deletion of the App, subject to technical limitations, device behavior, backups, legal obligations, account synchronization if offered, and anonymized or aggregated data uses described in this Policy.
The Service may generate outputs based on Your User Content, including AI-generated or human-written likelihood classifications, confidence scores, written analysis reports, syntax breakdowns, writing-pattern observations, vocabulary observations, predictability metrics, style assessments, formatting observations, and history records. These generated results may be stored to provide Your history, allow You to view prior scans, improve the user experience, troubleshoot issues, maintain security, and enhance the Service.
Generated outputs are produced by automated processing and may be based on linguistic patterns, sentence structure, vocabulary choices, repetition, predictability, formatting, or other analysis factors. These outputs may contain Personal Data if the submitted User Content or resulting report includes information relating to an identifiable person.
The Service may request access to files, documents, storage locations, or document-picker functionality on Your device so that You can import a PDF file or submit other User Content for analysis. Such access is used to enable the functionality You request. You may be able to manage file, storage, or document permissions through Your device settings.
If PDF import is available, the App may process the PDF file, extract text from the PDF, analyze the extracted text, save the extracted text or analysis results in scan history, and generate related reports and outputs.
The Service is designed to analyze written content. The text, documents, PDF files, excerpts, prompts, or other User Content You submit may contain Personal Data, confidential information, proprietary information, regulated information, sensitive personal information, or information about third parties, depending on what You choose to submit.
You should not submit confidential, proprietary, regulated, sensitive, or third-party information unless You have the legal right, permission, and authority to do so and are comfortable with such information being processed as described in this Policy. You are responsible for the User Content You submit through the Service.
Originality.ai may use third-party artificial intelligence, machine learning, text analysis, cloud hosting, storage, analytics, or other service providers to help analyze User Content and generate App results. When You choose to submit text, import a PDF, or otherwise request analysis, the App may send the following information to one or more service providers for processing:
We do not use third-party AI or text analysis service providers to identify You, authenticate Your identity, or make legal, academic, employment, disciplinary, admissions, financial, or other high-impact decisions about You or any other person.
The App may present an in-app disclosure or permission request before sending submitted User Content or related analysis request data to a third-party AI or text analysis service provider where required. If You do not give permission where permission is required, the App may be unable to generate the requested AI-powered or automated analysis results.
We may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
The Service may use automated systems, artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, text analysis, algorithms, or other automated technologies, including services provided by third-party AI or text analysis service providers, to analyze User Content and generate outputs, including AI/human likelihood classifications, confidence scores, written analysis reports, syntax breakdowns, writing-pattern observations, and history records.
Third-party AI, machine learning, text analysis, cloud hosting, storage, or other service providers may process the data We send to them as service providers for the purpose of generating the analysis requested through the App, operating the Service, maintaining security, troubleshooting issues, preventing abuse, and complying with applicable law. Where provider settings or agreements allow customer control over model training or improvement using identifiable User Content, Love Power Up does not opt in to allow identifiable Originality.ai User Content to be used to train or improve third-party AI models.
Third-party AI, machine learning, text analysis, cloud hosting, storage, or other service providers may process and retain API data, logs, and related information as described in their applicable business, API, security, and privacy terms and policies, including for security, abuse monitoring, legal compliance, and service operation. We require service providers that process Personal Data on Our behalf to provide protections for Personal Data that are the same as or equal to those required by this Policy and applicable law.
We may use anonymized and/or aggregated data, including usage patterns, scan metadata, analysis results, classification trends, confidence score ranges, report-quality feedback, and related outputs, to improve, test, evaluate, and enhance Our algorithms and Services. Such anonymized or aggregated data is intended not to identify You personally.
The Service does not use submitted text, PDF content, analysis reports, confidence scores, or syntax breakdowns to identify individuals, authenticate identity, or make legal, academic, employment, disciplinary, admissions, financial, or other high-impact decisions.
The Service may request permission to send push notifications or similar alerts. If You enable notifications, We may use them to send subscription-related notices, account-related notices, feature updates, security notices, analysis completion notices, or other App-related communications.
Notification features may use notification tokens, delivery status, device information, local time, time zone, notification preferences, and related metadata to determine when to schedule or send notices. You may manage or disable notifications through Your device settings or, where available, through the App’s settings. If You disable notifications, some notification features may not function as intended.
We may share Your Personal Data in the following situations:
You should only upload, import, paste, or submit content that You have the legal right and permission to use. You are responsible for the User Content You submit through the Service.
You should avoid submitting confidential, regulated, proprietary, sensitive, or third-party information unless You have authority to do so and are comfortable with such information being processed, analyzed, stored, and shared with service providers as described in this Policy.
Before the App sends submitted User Content or related Personal Data to a third-party AI, machine learning, text analysis, or other service provider for AI-powered or automated analysis, the App may present an in-app disclosure explaining that data will be sent to the provider, identifying the types of data sent, and requesting Your permission where required. You may decline the permission request. If You decline where permission is required, the App will not send that User Content and related analysis request data to that provider for processing, but certain analysis features may not be available.
The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Personal Data to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Our legal agreements and policies.
User Content, submitted text, imported PDF content, extracted PDF text, excerpts, prompts, analysis requests, AI/human likelihood classifications, confidence scores, written analysis reports, syntax breakdowns, writing-pattern observations, scan history, account information, purchase confirmation information, and related outputs may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain Your history, improve the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Our agreements and policies.
User Content and generated outputs may be stored persistently for use within the App and history features, but are intended to be deleted upon deletion of the App, subject to technical limitations, device behavior, backups, legal obligations, account synchronization if offered, and anonymized or aggregated data uses described in this Policy. We do not guarantee permanent storage, backup, availability, or recoverability of any submitted text, imported PDF files, extracted text, reports, confidence scores, syntax breakdowns, scan history, or other content.
Data sent to third-party AI, machine learning, text analysis, cloud hosting, storage, or other service providers may be processed and retained by those providers in accordance with their applicable business/API terms, data processing terms, security practices, privacy policies, and retention policies, including for service operation, security, abuse monitoring, troubleshooting, and legal compliance. Where provider settings or agreements allow customer control over model training or improvement using identifiable User Content, Love Power Up does not opt in to allow identifiable Originality.ai User Content to be used to train or improve third-party AI models.
Anonymized and/or aggregated data may be retained and used for analytics, research, algorithm improvement, and Service improvement, where such data is not intended to identify You personally.
The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when used to strengthen security or improve functionality, or where We are legally required to retain it longer.
Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company's operating offices, by third-party AI, machine learning, text analysis, cloud hosting, storage, analytics, payment processing, customer support, or other service providers, and in other places where the parties involved in processing are located. This means information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside Your state, province, country, or other jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in Your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by submission of such information and any required in-app permission represents Your agreement to that transfer.
The Company will take steps reasonably necessary to ensure Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and no transfer of Personal Data will take place to an organization or country unless adequate controls are in place.
The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Personal Data, We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with personal information, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected personal information from anyone under 13 without verification of parental consent, We will take steps to remove that information from Our servers.
If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your information, and Your country requires consent from a parent, We may require Your parent's consent before We collect and use that information.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party apps, websites, or services.

User Content may contain personal data, confidential information, proprietary information, regulated information, or sensitive personal data depending on what You choose to submit. Where required, We rely on Your consent or another lawful basis to process such data for the App functionality You request, including processing submitted text, imported PDF content, extracted PDF text, analysis requests, and sending related data to third-party AI, machine learning, text analysis, cloud hosting, storage, or other service providers when You request analysis and provide any required in-app permission.
When We share Personal Data of individuals in the EEA, Switzerland, or UK with third-party service providers, We use legal mechanisms to safeguard the transfer, including European Commission-approved standard contractual clauses, data processing terms, and additional safeguards where appropriate.
You may have rights to request access, correction, updates, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of Your Personal Data. If We process Personal Data with Your consent, You may withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. Love Power Up has included this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, and related regulations (collectively, CCPA).
Depending on how You use the Service, We may collect categories of personal information such as identifiers, internet or other electronic network activity information, commercial information, inferences or generated outputs, and User Content such as submitted text, document content, imported PDF content, extracted PDF text, excerpts, prompts, analysis requests, scan history, AI/human likelihood classifications, confidence scores, written analysis reports, syntax breakdowns, writing-pattern observations, and other information submitted by You. Some information, including account credentials, payment-related confirmation data, submitted text, PDF content, document metadata, analysis request data, prompts/instructions, technical request information, and generated outputs, may be considered sensitive personal information depending on applicable law and context, including if You choose to submit content containing sensitive information.
We use such information to provide the Service, send submitted User Content and related analysis request data to third-party AI, machine learning, text analysis, cloud hosting, storage, or other service providers with any required in-app permission for AI-powered or automated processing, generate App results, maintain history, improve and secure the Service, process purchases through third-party payment processors, respond to requests, and comply with legal obligations.
We may disclose Personal Data to third-party AI, machine learning, text analysis, cloud hosting, storage, analytics, payment processing, subscription management, customer support, and other service providers for the business purposes described in this Policy. Such service providers process Personal Data on Our behalf and are required to provide the same or equal protection for Personal Data as required by this Policy and applicable law.
California residents may have rights to know/access, delete, correct, and receive information about collection, use, disclosure, sharing, or sale of personal information, subject to applicable exceptions.
Love Power Up does not sell Your personal information, as defined under the CCPA. If in the future We sell or share Your personal information in a manner that requires an opt-out right, We will provide notice and a method to exercise that right.
We use sensitive personal information, if collected, for purposes reasonably necessary to provide the Service, generate requested App results, maintain App functionality, protect security, comply with law, and otherwise as permitted by applicable law.
To exercise access, data portability, deletion, correction, or applicable opt-out rights, You may submit a verifiable consumer request by email to support@lovepowerup.com.
A verifiable consumer request must provide sufficient information that allows Us to reasonably verify Your identity or authority to make the request and describe Your request with enough detail for Us to understand, evaluate, and respond. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor's identity or authority.
We endeavor to respond to verifiable consumer requests within the time required by applicable law. If We require more time, We will inform You in writing of the extension period and reason. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to a verifiable consumer request unless permitted by applicable law.
